Day 37, (Wednesday, 08.04.09)
Weather: Cold, raining

HAPPY BIRHTDAY SHAN MEI!

It was a day where we mainly do project whole day!

We woke up at 9.30am as Mr Chong(our lecturer) wanted to give us an ending speech for his module(environment technology). 10.30am, we reached the classroom. His main agenda for his whole speech is basically thanking us for coming Wuhan, China with him, about his dinner which he was going to treat us and lastly, our common test result.
Bye bye classroom! Our very last time stepping into it

Also, he told us to go for an English corner which would be held later at night, 7pm. At first, we were reluctant to go as most of our project is still undone and tomorrow is the presentation! As he said 10 people are required, we decided all go so as to be fair.

So, around 11.30am, he is done with his speech and we were released. Ate our lunch and continue with our project. At that particular moment, we do not have our PowerPoint slides ready and our solution was still very vague. As such, we were in quite a dilemma. We were all quite stress up then.

At 7pm, we went for the English corner.
Firstly, they put up a break dance for us

After that, its time for interaction!
The 2 China girls that i interacted with most of the time(does'nt mean i talk with 2 of them only, i talk to others, but did not take pictures with them)

In summary, the China students really love to communicate with us in English. As known, if there is someone who speaks with them in English, they will be more willing to give it a try. The problem now with them is that nobody did try to communicate with them in English, thus, making their English hidden within them. But there is something that I want to stress. Sometimes, talking to them might be DIFFICULT because of their accent.

After the English corner, we went back to our dormitory and celebrated Shan Mei birthday. Giving her a big cake now and a bouquet of flowers as her present. She was over the moon. Glad to see that. Not staying there long again, we went back for project discussion again!

Soon, as the clock strike 12am, it was another person birthday. He was none other than,
Alan Chang Lit Hieng, WU GUI!!!

What we did was to put up an act: We (Felicia, Yi Sheng, Mei Yi, Alan and I) were all doing project in my room
-Firstly, me and Yi Sheng Quarrel.
-Then I was unhappy and left the room.
-After I left my room, I called everyone (LSCT students) out and get ready outside the door with a mini cake (kept in hardy’s room initially).
-Then, at 12am sharp, I went back to my room with everyone now, giving him the surprise. This was the mini surprise for him, but a bit unsuccessful. But he was happy!

Then, we discuss our project for the whole night.
