Day 14,15 and 16 and reflections for these 3 days

Yo!!! I'm blogging again!! Firstly, let me say about my timetable 1st(for my sis, didi, mei)

Basically, friday is our free day~ hahas nice rite? okay now let me start my post!

Day 14
Let me start on the temperature 1st, okay, basically, the temperture is starting to be warmer~ It's like 16-20 degree Celsius~ Woah~ nice weather!! At last i can wear my tee shrit and cardigan and go out. But, still must wear long jeans(cox it's stil cold).
I woke up at 9am wash up and prepare to go for 10am class. In class, we continue our lecture on characteristics of water till 11am then we went to eat our lunch in the canteen. My 3 classmate, jasper, yong qi, and hardy skipped their lunch, thus, as we were worried that they will get diet problems, we went to take away food from the back alley; porridge for yong qi(as he had been vomitting the previous nite), man tou and milk (bun for hardy and jasper). Then, at 1pm, we attended class again, to continue our lecture,did tutorial 3 and 4 and completed watching the inconvinient truth(movie). After class about 4pm, we went to take our helmet as we will be going for an industrial visit 2molo. After taking, we went to play sport, which is, badminton!!! with the local student!!(thanks for the rackets and shutter corks)

They have a lot of badminton courts and places for them to play table tennis! OMG! and i found out that this area is always full of people!! Basically, China student play sports instead of play computer during their free time! Wah!! *stun*
So, we played till 7.30pm and went for dinner with the locals as well~ My dinner for day 14 is...

Dumpling~ hahas, mine is beef dumplings, i would say that it's nice, but not very nice. The one which chopstick on the plate is mushroom dumpling(Felicia's order), below of it was beef dumpling(mine), the 1 beside felicia's was vegetable dumpling(jason's san jin order) beside mine was kidd's(san jin order). From what i noticed, China counted food as 一斤(yi jin)两斤(liang jin) which yi jin = 250g. So, i ordered liang jin and it's 4rmb!! After dinner, came back to the hostel bath and discuss our proposal which is due on this coming thursday, then blog, after blogging, sleep!!(apm)

Day 15
The temperature was colder than day 14!! hahas, thats why i wore sweater.
So, as we have an industrial visit, i woke up at 7am to wash up and prepare as we need to meet at 8am. Then, after boarding the bus, we was informed that no cameras is allowed in the factory, so, no photos of the inner factory, oni take pictures outside.
On the journey to there, i found the road system in wuhan very weird,

They just u-turn like that on NARROW road. So dangerous! Usually singapore have a path way to u-turn and not like that u-turn. Do u all get wat i mean?? Also, btw, people and transport don kind of follow traffic rules much, people just crossed the road, with incoming cars...
So, we reach there around 9am?

This was the photo taken before going into the factory. Looks like CONSTRUCTION WORKERS!!! WHICH I HATED THE MOST!! (xiao chun should noe how i feel and wat i mean)... So, we went in to the factory by following the crowd infront of us. There was no tour guide or watever, we jux blindly walking and discover things oursleves, i don even noe what is the factory we was visting, then...
Inside the factory, we was situated at an upper stairs which all the machines and raw materials are below us, at 1st when i walked in, i felt very hot and saw a LARGE GLOWING HOT RED BLOCK! It was VERY HOT!! Even we are standing so far, we FELT the HEAT!! it was so intense!!Then, it landed on the roller and passed many zones. Firsly, cooling zone when water is used to cool it, then flatening, cooling, cooling,cooling(alot of cooling process) then cooling, then rolling it into rolls(like toilet rolls). It was very noisy there as the machine there was huge and i felt that my ear drum is going to burst!! But, i still can listen now, that's the good thing!! Towards the end of the factory, i then found out that it was an iron producing factory, hahas, so this was the industrial visit... Lousy, no guide, jux walking aimlessly and observing without understanding till the end we then see the light! Waste our time and i can sleep LONGER!!! Nevertheless, i experience something that cannot be experience in singapore!!

After visiting the factory~
Oh, forgotten to mention one thing, that place STINK!! it's full of sewage smell!!Smelly!~~

Then, are visitng it, we went back to WUST and went to have our lunch at a fast food resturant

The menu!~ The food are nice!! i ate beef burger, but their pesi or cola drink taste a bit different... sweeter?
So after eating, we went for class at 1pm. So, we learnt about Wastewater Treatment, next topic!

After finishing the primary and secondary treatment of it,at about 3pm Mr Chong gave us watch movie again!! The reason y he gave us watch is because we are going to wudan mountain this friday and it kind of link to kung fu??? The movie is call, never backdown! NICE MOVIE!! But, that show don looks like gong fu lei, looks more like wrestling(VIOLENT!!M18?)...
After class about 5pm, came back to room to blog a bit, and tok and webcam wif xiao chun~
Then, we down at 6.15pm to find my friends whom are playing badminton again. The reason why every1 is doing sports is to prepare to go for friday wudan mountain as we need 3.30hrs to climb it. I personally think that i cannot make it and im still NOT EXERCISING!!

Then, at 6.30pm, all of us went for dinner with Mr Chong as well. He bought tang pao to try and we brought him to back alley again to try fried rice over there! hahas, again, he said that the food we recommented was nice!! So, i ate fried rice again, egg with ham again.(ps, i just like to eat the same fried rice, as it the oni food tasted like singapore's)

Then, i saw them cutting the meat beside me. See the pic, wat is ur thoughts now? unhygenic? same as me, BUT!! we did not get diarrhea, so don worry yea =b

Then, we went to bought some fruits also!~ I did not buy any, cox i do not have constipation!! but, my friend seriously needed it(dietary fiber)!! I shall not review who he/she is. So, this was the strawberries we bought, guess how much this big bowl of strawberries costed? 5rmb!! (shannie must be craving for it when she saw this pic XP) they said that they were sweet!!
After dinner, as usual, bath and wash clothes and discuss proposal agian!! Then, slept at 12 plus...

Day 16
Temperature was like singapore!! but cooler of caused~ 20 degree? XP
I woke up at 10am~ Shuang~ at last able to sleep so long!! hahas, then, we discuss our proposal again!! we have been working on it for 3 days and finally settled today! hahas!! So, we will be tackling on, emission of CO2!

Discussing, SHhh~

Me~ woke up not long ago.
Then, we went to eat our lunch ar 12pm as we have lesson at 1pm.
My lunch is

Egg noodles~ I found that i ate alot of eggs when i came to china!! OMG!! CHOLESTROL!!

He ate one mouth or half mouth of it oni!! it was not nice!! im glad that i had mine! For his,the taste of the tomato sauce was weird and the noodles had too much dough. Also, see that drink over there? it's apple juice, it not nice either!! TOO SWEET!! u like drink syrup!! he also drank one mouth oni. WASTAGE OF FOOD!! hahas, but there are really not pleasant.
So at 1, went for xiao ling lesson again! At 1st when i went in, i was very happy!

I saw picture in her ppt and less word!! But however, it was only for the 1st 2 slides, the rest of the slides was back to square 1... sad to say, i felt alseep again!! opps!politics..

Also, in class, i bought food to eat, hahas pinic time XP This biscult is nice!! YUMMY!~(SINFUL!)

Then sweet from alan. They are gummies~ like gummy bear in sg, nice to chew! This is an egg

At the end of the lecture, the whole packet of gummies were eaten including my biscult!~ hahas XP

At the end of the class, we did something lame, see the shadow, yisheng boxing me =x

Class ended after 5, then took some pictures on my way back

The boys dormotory toilet(for them to brush teeh) Looks bare, no mirror and hanger and shelf to hang their stuff and put their stuff respectively.

An area which the grass are burn. The cause to these brunt i presume is because of cigarette as there are very little dustbin and they just threw on this area(as i have seen fire happening before because of the threwing of cigarette), causing grasses and bushes not able to grow there.

Beautiful sun set!! The sun was very NICE!!

Book borrowed for a student union! Thanks for the book!! i found out a lot of information on the three gorges, so do others!!! Thank you very much!!
Lastly, went back to rooms to do some personal stuff and at 6.30pm, went down to find my friends whom are doing sports again and went for dinner!
My dinner today was again

Fried rice and Milk tea~ Yummy! i just PUERLY LOVE IT! <3<3<3~>

The food that my friend order, felicia ordered mushroom egg, then alan ordered fish something(ps, don noe wat it called) and yisheng ordered beef something. But, in the end, they only found the mushroom egg nice, as the other 2 was simply too saltish...
So, after our meal, we went to bought some bread for 2molo break1st.
Side track a bit, the reason y we choose emitsion of CO2 is becaused that everytime we went to the back alley to eat, we saw this situation

A HEAP of smoke!! Actually, they are CO2 as they burn charcoal to produce the heat to warm up the food...
okay, back to today, then, after buying our bread, we walked back to the hostel,i wanted to say this very long ago, but i did'nt bothered to take photo of it, now, let see the picture below

China jux have too LITTLE dustbin!! People are throwing their waste on the floor! Somemore on road! This system should changed! 1stly, it dirty the road, 2ndly, it disgusting lastly, I CANNOT STAND IT!! Just put a few more dustbin around that area and the problem is solved!!! Cant they do this simply ting?I bet they can, just nobody voice out...
Then, went back hostel, bath, wash clothe and blog again... hahas, nowadays, our clothing are dried in one day!! Last week, it took a few days to dry them. Good! mean that weather is warmer, no more winter wear!! Tee shirt and only!! hahas XP

Reflection for day 14,15 and 16
- In class,
-Firstly, from the characteristic of water, I have learned how to calculate of BOD(oxygen equivalent of organics at time),BOD rate(constant at the temperature of interest per day),BOD5 , when we need to dilute the sample in 300ml bottle, theoretical NBOD and theoretical COD
-Secondly, from wastewater treatment, I learn about the water pollutant and their sources, characteristics of domestic waste water, municipal waste water treatment system and the unit operations of pretreatment. For unit operations of pretreatment, I learnt about the stroke law to calculate for horizontal flow cambers and how it then linked to calculation of time in the grit chambers.
- Local students in China should have a very good healthy as they lead a healthy lifestyle. This can be seen in playing sports during their free times
- Road safely not followed closely. If I would have had a license and converted to international, I don’t think I would dare to drive in China, it’s just so different from Singapore road, Singapore’s is safer.
- Helmets not sponsored by the factory we went to, we must supply our own helmet. Strange, then where do people inside got their helmets from? Bought? Theirs? If never bring to work, how?
- From the fast food restaurant we ate in, I found that usually, China do not have chili sauce! Their chili sauce to them was in powder form.
- Never judies a food by its appearance, it may looks nice, smell nice, but taste AWEFUL…
- Serious garbage problem and air pollution!!!

To mei: Mei ar.. wat ni still don understand? the coffin mah? aiya, it just a coffin to store dead bodies and last time the suspened it on the hill instead of burrying them. can understand now mah? hahas, for the person lying 1, can see the head good enough lars, the rest cannot see, nvm =b don try too hard *misses*
